Here in this small post, I would like to share regarding certain Honking etiquettes to keep in mind especially while driving these days.
The Do's
- While you are fading into your lane, do use your car horn to indicate others.
- If you see any pedestrian walking or crossing the road, give a quick beep to save the potential collision. Other than driving, even if you are reversing your car from the parking lot and see a guy walking straight into the path, giving a quick honk can save you both.
- Driving a vehicle , no matter how big or small it is a pure matter of responsibility. So make sure you be patient as well as confident before placing your hands on the steering wheel. Again use your UNO minda horns to avoid danger and not to express anger, stress or frustration.
The don'ts
- Do not lay your hand on the horn to showcase a gesture of anger. You never know the opposite party would need to reach somewhere earlier than you. Aggressive driving can lead to road rage or some of the worst disasters of your life and nothing else.
- I have seen many of us start honking or making misuse of their Mahindra Spares India by honking as soon as the light turns green. Nobody loves to stay especially after the traffic light goes green but there might be some emergency that you aren't able to see clearly and cause an accident while hurrying.
